Cathay Pacific Canada is looking for Full Time Reservation Sales Agents for the Global Contact Centre Team based in Vancouver, B.C. As part of our Global Contact Centre Team, the successful candidates will ensure that customers receive a positive and professional experience through handling phone calls and emails, ticketing, and by providing online and irregular operations support.


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Promote and sell products and services within the network
  • Answer questions regarding destinations, schedules, fares, and other related matters
  • Ensure all calls are answered in a professional and courteous manner and established procedures are followed
  • Other duties as required




  • Demonstrated passion for customer service in a call centre environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Asian or other language capabilities are desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with superior telephone manners and techniques
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Familiarity with airline computer reservations systems an asset
  • Fare and ticketing knowledge would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Cathay Pacific route structure or work experience with another airline, travel agency, or other travel industry company is preferred
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends and statutory holidays
